Re: Are You a Difficult Person to Buy Gifts For?

Like you @HappyDaze, I put a lot of thought into what I give people and sometimes it's something small but has meaning to the recipient.  Sometimes, I use themes.

Eeeee gads............My husband used to ask the salesperson for advice, and I would end up with the white elephant that's been on the shelf for YEARS.

I like gift cards, French red wine and coffee.   That's pretty easy.

I'd say no. But I'm not in their shoes.  We use to exchange gifts but had to write down 3 things to give others an idea. It got to be a real chore!

Oh my goodness I've always told my family that I am the EASIEST person to buy for! Walk through a store with your eyes closed, pick something out, I'll just love it! Woman Happy

No. Receiving gifts is not important to me at all. Like a couple of others here, I have a simple life and don't need anything or ever expect anything. Plus, I know how stressful looking for the right gift can be so I don't want to put that burden on anyone else. I'd rather receive a heartfelt sentiment either in person or in writing, or just a hug. I used to get very simple homemade cards that meant the world to me.

No.  Books and jewelry are winners.  I already have too much of both, but there is a saying "Too much of a good thing is wonderful."

Impossible to buy for my husband of 50 years.  Quite picky about what he wants, so he picks out his gift from me.  I really, really love buying gifts for our two little grandchildren.

Yes and No.

I really don't need anything.  I have been very blessed throughout my like.

I was brought up that if someone is willing to spend money on you, find a way to use the gift.  If the sizing is wrong, return it if possible, and get the correct size.

My gift wish is for family and friends to gather around and have a good time.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
