I like a variety of music including Classical which I find generally relaxing. Piano, strings, guitar and cello of course.  I like a soft  classical jazz. I hadn't thought of it in years but when I was married my ex hated it.  I had to play it softly where he could not really hear it as he complained.

lol Re: the complaining ex. 😅 I too like jazz, contemporary and classic. Not a fan of vocal jazz. Ok so I sing barbershop music. Well about ten years ago my chorus was going to be competing at international contest. One of  the songs in our performance package was a jazzy piece with a scat section. It took us forever to get it right. And when we did it still sounded completely unnatural- imagine 65 suburban white women from Grand Rapids Mi trying to scat like Ella. Umm. No. You could pick out every syllable. It was hysterical. 😁😂🤣

Re: Are You a Classical Music Fan?

@smoochy  Most people that are not familiar at all with Classical Music normally fall for Mozart. He created melodies that never ended.  Beethoven was for POWER.  His crashing angst opened the door for Romantic Classical music schlock. I could only take so much of it.  I once angered my father in law (a classical music snob if there ever was one) by saying I thought Beethoven was overrated.  LOL.
