We had been getting one or none spam calls a day and yesterday and today the phone is ringing off the hook with this.

The eternal question:  Is it just us????  Why would they start again after months of not being a problem.

Not just you, but I have been getting them every day for a long time.

In the beginning, I could block numbers and it would help.

Now, no matter how many numbers are blocked, more calls come in with a variety of names/places on caller ID.  They are relentless and I never answer.

We still have a land line and Verizon service, so several options for blocking calls don't work.  My phone will block 250 numbers, but, as I said, the calls rarely come from the same place two times in a row.

Again, I never answer.

Absolutely. Fraudulent calls from Norton,  Bragg? bill collectors, we want to buy your house, your car warranty has expired, and of course Amazon. Not to mention legitimate calls from my state to get a booster, even though they took my name off their list.

Not really. Every once in awhile. Some say Spam so I don't know what they are. On the few we get no one ever leaves a message.

No, we are enjoying a dry spell with phone calls, only 3 calls total over the last 2 weeks!

So far today we got 14 spam calls.

My husband wants to keep the land line because often we are asked by businesses to give our phone number. And my husband will not give out his cell phone number.

So we get lots of spam calls every day on the land line.

Yes !!! My landline has been ringing off the hook for the last 2 days. I've had at least 6 calls today and I just don't answer

Yes!  The spam calls have increased this week...and they call after 8:00 at night.  i think they might originate from a different time zone.  They are 800 numbers, we don't answer and they don't leave a message.

We had so many of those unwanted calls that we finally had the landline taken out . So peaceful now , we just have cell phones and l keep mine on the " do not disturb " mode with ringing only to people on my contacts list .  I turn that off if I am expecting a call from someone who l do not have their number . I was getting a dozen calls a day with usually only one legitimate call .

I seem to get them in spurts.  For two or three days I will receive a spam call about every 2 hours.  I cannot block them as each one shows a different number and city and state.

I have not had any for a couple of days now, but they will start up again in another week or so I bet.  They never leave a message and I never answer any call that I do not know. I keep thinking they will stop, but no such luck.
