Are There Preferred Customers

There must be a preferred customer.  There isn't any other answer as to why a stock item is taking 6 days so far to ship and maybe more keeps telling me it's processing.

Seriously, when you purchase an item its for immediate satisfaction knowing the product is so noted in stock.

When it takes a week maybe more to get out the door, really who wants it, let's cancel and move on.

If you knowingly purchase an item that is backordered for on extended delivery, you know you won't get it for whatever time allowed so I can deal with that.

There must be preferred customers because they must be pushing someone like me to the back of the line.

crummy order and shipping system and no sense of urgency at the top of the chain

Yes, there's a secret cabal of customers.

Seriously? I've not dealt with any online retailer that's hasn't experienced difficulties and delays this past year and a half. That includes Amazon.

Guess the only difference is in how you choose to deal with it.

Re: Are There Preferred Customers

I spend (spent) a lot of money at QVC.  I would think that I would be on that preferred list, lol.  But my orders have been "in process" for a long time too - like over a week, without me being able to cancel.

Their system just does not seem to work well for everyone.  I am finally getting tired of the slow shipping, the slow return credits, the pricing games, the products and the hosts.

I am gratefull that I have purchased some great things from QVC - clothes, jewelry, and facial and make up products.  But I have everything I need now, so it is time for me to pull back from QVC and to use and enjoy what I have, without getting sucked into buying anything more.

No, I don't believe there are preferred customers pushing you to the back of the line, it's just their system.  We all wait for our orders the same as you.  If your looking for "Immediate satisfaction", perhaps you should try a brick & mortor.

Shhhhhhh....Don't tell her! The first rule of super secret preferred customer club is "there is no super secret preferred customer club."

@Etoile308 True, but the problems at QVC seem to have gone on and on and on, starting before the pandemic.  In my opinion, they just can not seem to get their act together.  Other online retailers do a much better job, per my own experiences.

Re: Are There Preferred Customers

I ordered Kansas City burgers to ship out to DS. Package shipped in 2 days + 2 days UPS. 4 days total.

I order Rastelli's. 6 days, later, radio silence. I was able to cancel. I order Rastelli's from their website? 9 days to ship and deliver.

Go figure.

Not aware of any preferred  customers -No recent discounts or specials for long time customers .

I've had some  QVC orders   take forever  while in processing status. I've had other orders that were processing suddenly be delivered .

I have purchased from other online companies LL Bean and items were marked as backorder or  some items that were in stock had delayed shipping dates . Same  thing happened with The Company Store  on delayed shipping  notices.

A couple of months ago I had an Amazon order  that was " lost " in the mail system  which suddenly showed up 2  1/2 months later .

I just have accepted that items ordered  are going to be delayed .

I've been buying locally from brick & mortar as much as possible

The only preferences that I've seen are some posting topics are poofed over others .
