So sad. We were all so excited here on the forums when we were waiting for Baby Taj. I will be thinking of Jordan, Allysa, and Corey, who cared for her so lovingly.

I have cried on and off all afternoon. I still faithfully followed her and the park. She was the best giraffe ever. So tolerant and welcoming of people. Just seemed so happy all the time. I am so sad.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

As often as they bred her, I'm not surprised. They probably wore her out. Didn't she recently have a calf? Again.

Oh I didn't know! I am so sad about that.

What a beautiful loving mother she was. I watched her in labor for probably more hours than I was in labor with my own.
