I hope Alyssa can name him - but he'll always be Baby to me

I never mentioned it here, and don't even know if it was a name suggested elsewhere, but my thought was "Harpur" for the name of the town, Harpursville, where the Animal Adventure Park is located.
It will be interesting to see what they decided upon. Cutie Patootie would also apply. Ha!!!

@gidgetgh, oh, thanks for letting me know. I do think it would be a cute name, and would associate him with where he came from. I guess we will find out soon.

The name is Tajiri, means hope and confidence in Swahili.

How wonderful is this! I'm so glad they let Allysa and Cory decide. It is so nice of Jordan to do that, especially since "Patches" and "Patch" were both in the top ten. His name fits him, but I, too, will always call him "Baby"!

Interesting. I know from past animal namings, zoos seem to prefer Swahili words. My entry for April's baby was Huru, which is Swahili for independent. I liked the idea of the "H" to refer back to Harpursville. :-)
