Hi Puddles, how exciting. May 4th will be here before you know it and I am sure that your kitten will be so happy to see you and Ian {#emotions_dlg.wub}.

It's raining here and I think we could get some bad weather tonight. There were reports this morning that lightening struck a resident's house in Southfield MI and the force was so strong that it blew out all but a couple of windows and knocked a big tree over onto her house. All of this happened around 5:30 am - terrifying {#emotions_dlg.scared}

The bird of the day is the Dovekie

Doing the Happy Dance! Because it's FRIDAY! Yahooooo!

Bird mama, I hope these terrible storms didn't hit your area. We will be so happy to see our Snow White again.

Everyone stay safe! Have a good weekend.

Anika, I love watching Robins at a bird bath. I don't think I've ever seen an outdoor bird enjoy bathing in a bird bath more than a Robin.

So far, my back yard has sparrows and cardinals and the occasional pigeon (year long visitors) and the seasonal cowbirds, starlings, mourning doves and two ducks (lol).

Yes, I have a duck couple that has been visiting since March - can't tell if it's Fred and Ethel from last year.

I don't think I've seen any Robins yet.

I experienced rain and strong winds that had me waking up various times of the night (wind makes me nervous) but no damage to anything. I consider myself blessed as there were additional reports last night of Michigan residents who experienced lightening strikes that exploded fireplaces and such - bricks everywhere {#emotions_dlg.scared}.

I have a very large ceramic dog water dish, now bird bath, lol. Robins will line up at the bowl for their baths, and sometimes squabble, whole families. I later discovered a nest in a very tall Salvia nearby, which explains the abundance of Robins.
