No one has called me yet so I applied to a FT job, same type, different company, I found right around the corner from me last night. I could walk to the pharmacy from my house. Someone needs to hire me before the bidding war begins. LOL

AND, it turns out one of my GMs' wives actually works for the company I applied too first and is a store manager and is willing to make a phone call on my behalf to get me in the door if needed at any location that may have availability around me. She's a bit far but I'll drive if I get to that point.

I say this because I am passing along the great advice you all gave me to the lurker who may be reading and be just as lost as I was. Taking that leap puts a smile on your face even if you haven't landed anywhere yet. Fingers crossed I can start my new chapter soon.

Icing on the cake is my coworker it turns out is a closet writer too just like me and we will hopefully be attempting the self publishing journey together. She called me this morning all excited and a little mad that I had made her dust off her old manuscript. Now she has something else to do in her busy life and I told her she can thank me when she receives her Nobel Prize for Literature.

Thank you all again for picking me up during a very dark time. Even as unsettled as it all is still, I love a good plan and hope it all comes together soon.

Thank you. I purchased a beautiful one about 10 years ago on ebay. It has a photograph I took on it. When I saw your note, just had to ask. Wouldn’t have been a coincidence?

@Drythe LOL! Yes that would have been very funny! I used to sell a bit on Ebay before Etsy nd I sold them at craft shows too.
