I recently had dinner at Applebee's and there was a card on the table saying that if my server doesn't suggest their Margarita that I get a free brownie bite. My server didn't so I asked for my free brownie bite. No problem, she brought it. Mind you, these mini-desserts only cost $1. What I got was a triangular shaped brownie (3-4 bites easy) with a mini scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzled with chocolate sauce. What a perfect dessert! The next time I went in with a friend I suggested we each get one and we both agree that this little $1 dessert is Applebee's secret weapon! It's a perfect portion after a good meal and the price certainly can't be beat! It's really a super little treat! I really wish more restaurants would offer mini-sized and mini-priced desserts.
