@Anonymous032819   Pies are my favorite and easiest dessert to make.  During the fall and winter months, I make several a week.  I mostly make apple or pumpkin, my DH's favorite, or cherry because I have a sour cherry tree and my freezer is full of them.

 

My very favorite is pecan and my DH won't eat it.  He calls it roach pie. Says it looks like bugs on top.  I occasionally will make it for a holiday dinner, and make mine in a little casserole dish without the crust ( celiac disease) 

 

Now that you have posted, You made me hungry for pecan pie.

I love recipes on the box or bottle, you know they've been tested & tweaked for home cooks.    Congrats.
