I would not think Phaedra would put her legitimate businesses at risk for this punk.

I've seen a number of unscrupulous business con artists. They are slick, very convincing, and know how to hide things from everyone around them.

I don't think Phaedra first met Apollo when she was his lawyer. I could swear she said they met in college first. I think they had a relationship then.

It appears he used his asset recovery business to snoop around in people's financial files and steal their identities.

So I can see how she was fooled by this con - he didn't tell her how he was using the info he was getting!

phaedra knew who she married and what he had done previously.....i would not be surprised if she had purposefully ignored some sort of clues as to what is going on for a while. then maybe those clues became too difficult to ignore.
