Anyone watching the Philae land on a comet?

What an amazing world we live in. 10 years ago the Rosetta spacecraft took off with the idea to land a smaller module (the Philae) on a rocky, icy comet millions of miles away from earth. The Philae is expected to test the comet to determine if water and amino acids were delivered to the earth by way of comet impact.

The landing is happening now! Imagine that the comet and the spacecraft are moving at over 30,000 miles per hour! You can watch it live streaming here"

It just landed! Unbelievable-something landing on a 2 1/2 mile piece of rock flying at 33,000 mph. As the comet orbits the sun it will begin to heat up and release a gas stream- sometime around March or so. At which point the Philae will pack up and meet back up with the Rosetta.

I'm in awe.

I know! I was watching the live feed from the space agency. Celebration!
