Here's some trivia for you.  I'm looking at my 45 of I Remember You.

Yes, I still have it after all these years.  Flip side is A Stranger to Me.

The label?  Hickory Records.

Yes!!!!  It's Frank Ifield!

I fell asleep, but my cousins brother was able to take his picture and it was actually a video so she sent it to me and he was singing winter Wonderland.

So then I read the recent responses here, went off to you tube and yeah, it was Frank Ifield on the Ed Sullivan Show singing Winter Wonderland!

@qualitygal - well, Frank Ifield is 86 years old now.

I remember you was written way, way back before Ifield picked it up to sing.  It was written by Johnny Mercer. It was written in 1941.  Now comes the wierd part.  Mercer had an affair with a young Judy Garland.  At the time time Judy was engaged to someone else. Judy eventually broke it off with Mercer and and married the other guy.  Mercer never forgot her.  And one day he wrote I Remember You.  So that song was inspired by Judy Garland.
