@MKR14 Please come back and post a picture of your completed work if you decide to do an afghan.  That's a lovely stitch - looks like it would produce a nice warm fabric.  I'm a knitter - I just can't get the hang of crochet but I do appreciate how pretty it can be.  Don't think I've ever seen that stitch before.

I have made over 42 afghans in the "tunisian crochet stitch" but this photo I posted is not that stitch I am trying to find. I just gave one as a gift last month of that one. I finished a Home is Where the Heart one that was a Mary Maxim pattern from several years ago. It is a beautiful stitch also.

When I get my hair done next week I will get the video sghe has on this stitch. 
I will absolutely post a photo when I do find the correct pattern. I will show you where I found the stitch and pattern also.
Crocheting is a gift to learn as well as knitting is. I am more relaxed crocheting though.
