Way back in the day right after "Roots" hit the tv I took a few classes in finding your roots. It was ok but didn't really move me.

Funny Story: Our granddaughter had to do a report on her ancestors and I told her that all we knew was that my grandfather had to leave his country of origin because of problems w/the church. Bless my daughter-in-laws heart in the report which she helped our granddaughter with she said religious persecution. We have never found out why he had to leave. I do have his draft card,though.
