I graduate high school in 1988 and the Grateful Dead were have a resurgence in popularity. In the summers of 85-90 I went to many GD shows (176). Gosh, they were such a good time. I have some really fond memories.
Being on Facebook now I see many of the people who would all pile into a car together with our tents and camping equipment and spends months on the road with, having fun and lots of adventure. I am 41 now most are around the same age. All grown up with children, businesses, some spouses and responsibilities. One guy who I was great friends with posted about 50 or so pictures from a concert at Alpine Valley. Wow, it was so fun looking at those.
Great memories! I love my life now but it was fun looking back and seeing people I had such a great time with and catching up with them.
Anyone else enjoy the GD and go on any tours?
