My throat also gets sore when I am wearing a mask, but goes away after I have taken off the mask for a while. I think it is because I tend to breathe through my mouth while wearing and it just dries out my mouth/throat.. I started using a lozenge or cough drop In my mouth while wearing the mask and it eliminated the problem.

You seem upset. Hopefully shaming a poster who just asked for help made you feel tons better!

@Laura14 I haven't read all replies, but maybe a sensitivity to the material that the mask is made of? Have you tried a different type of mask?
