Anyone ever UNstring a Pre-lit Christmas Tree?

Oy...we've got a beautiful artificial tree that is several years old and the lights are in pretty bad shape so I've started unstringing them. It took me about 40 minutes to undo the small top section.

It is so heavy that I've quit hauling the larger 2 sections upstairs by myself so they won't be brought up until my boys are home tomorrow. I'm hoping the larger two sections weren't wound so intricately as these were a real pain to undo.
