Cavalcante was photo'd by a trailcam at beautiful Longwood Gardens last night. Longwood Gardens is closed today.

The New York Post is calling the five-foot high Cavalcante "the pint-sized killer."

@PickyPicky3 At least he's stopping to smell the flowers, and there's a million places to hide there.

Update on Escaped Prisoner from Chester County Prison

Late Monday night, images of the escaped convict were captured on trail cameras on Longwood property. The images were shared with PA State Police immediately after the footage was viewed at around 3:30 am on Tuesday, September 5. PA State Police are actively searching on the property. We will continue to work with authorities and law enforcement as the search continues.

Longwood Gardens is currently closed and will remain closed through Wednesday, September 6. Please check back here for updates.

We sincerely thank our law enforcement as they work tirelessly to apprehend the prisoner.

The Kennett School District will be closed tomorrow. There hasn't been any word if they will remain closed. Unionville Chadds Ford will assess early tomorrow morning if they will be closed again on Wednesday.

I live about 10 minutes south of Longwood Gardens where he was last sighted. He is still within 3 miles of the prison he escaped from and he has been sighted at least 5 times since his escape. I can't believe they haven't caught him yet.

Our doors will be locked. our alram on and DH has his firearm close at hand.

Supposedly, Law Enforcement dogs are working on the case. I would think they could pick up the trail from where the convict was seen last night at Longwood Gardens. The weather here has been as favorable as can be - absolutely bone-dry since the escape.
