Re: Anyone else uncomfortable with this term?

That word doesn't bother me at all although I do have quite a potty mouth.

Ford, I use the word you use, never the other one and neither one in writing.

I'm sure I use the word more than I realize. When people come to my desk and swear (not because they are mad, but just because it's a natural part of their speech) it bothers me.

I don't like that either.

It depends in what company or where we are at. Some words I know when to use it and when not too.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

My first introduction to that work was not secksual.

My first meaning of it was "stinks"

I agree. Secks doesn't even come to mind when I think of the word, it never did.

I don't use this regularly, I tend to use letters that aren't permitted here.

as a writer of some sort, I acknowledge that no words are off limits. I even read a poem by a woman poet that used the C word. That is my least favorite and I never use it. mija has language I don't say but she hates that word too--demeaning and vulgar.

I don't use it and rarely use cuss words. Just not my style. I prefer to make a point without the use of foul language.

Re: Anyone else uncomfortable with this term?

I'm not crazy about "stinkin' good" either. The "stinkin'" cancels out the good, IMO.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
