Always reminds me of a baby s**king on a pacifier, or his/her thumb. But, still, I'm not crazy about the term, anyway.

Yes it does bother me I suppose because it sounds so much like the F word. I never would allow my children to use it.

HA! I was watching The Music Man yesterday & the song Trouble in River City references "swell" as a disturbing word their youth might be using.

It's just becoming very mainstream now. Even the Eff word is becoming mainstream.
