Re: Anyone else pretty much quit watching QVC on the weekends with such lame programing?

I hardly watch QVC at all anymore. I do check online daily though for what was shown and the TSV.

I am bored with all the same stuff IE to me the over priced make up, over priced handbags, and over priced beauty products are boring.

Plus their prices have gotten terrible on clothing. (That makes me sad because I loved their clothing!).

I only watch if there is something that is of interest to me and I do not watch the electronic shows, sweeper shows, mattress shows, bose radio shows, Dooney shows, shoe shopping shows. I guess I don't watch QVC a lot. and I am so tired of seeing Clark shoes......

Re: Anyone else pretty much quit watching QVC on the weekends with such lame programing?

I haven't watched the Q in years. When I am changing the channel is the only time I see it.

The last time I watched the Q, Silver Style was still on with Jill on Sundays. I don't even have any idea how long ago that was. I think the last thing I ordered from them was the set of 10 Mally Eyeliners and that was probably 2 yrs ago.

I have never bought clothes from here, they just don't have anything that appeals to me. It was pretty much just jewelry and makeup that I ever bought.

IMO, they haven't been worth buying from for years. There are just so many other places that offer better deals and definitely better prices on shipping.

I check in on AM Beauty and Saturday Morning show with David but never any fashion as most Q fashion is not my taste. I do usually keep it on for the holiday, all day kitchen or beauty shows though. Otherwise too many other things to do and not because I want different programming!!

I occasionally watch seasonal decorating shows, including Christmas. I'd rather poke my eye than watch QVC fashion or beauty.

I don't watch anything but some fashions and Carolyn Pollack. I've become totally disgusted with most Q fashions and jewelry, not to mention, Keurig, mattresses, electronics, Vitamixes and the usual repetitive suspects.

Re: Anyone else pretty much quit watching QVC on the weekends with such lame programing?

I seldom watch at all. Recently I started watching Alberti's shows, simply because he has such a fresh approach. Otherwise, I can't even think of any vendor or product line I tune in for. When I first watched, I'm like some of the other posters -- it was sort of a default station to keep on for background listening. Items caught my attention, there was variety, they offered things I couldn't find elsewhere, and I made frequent purchases. (It helped that they had actual quality control in those days.)

Now, I find it repetitious, and it's like the movie "Groundhog Day" (which I love, btw) ... but unlike the movie it never ends. Turn QVC on any day, any time (or to paraphrase one of the hosts, "pick a day, any day, pick a time, any time"{#emotions_dlg.laugh}) and the same thing is on. I guess someone's watching, but I have no idea who it is.
