I'm delighted that Dan will be going home soon, he is one very lucky man. I miss Barry on the show, he was always my favorite. I don't miss Dave and his YUP at all, he was so annoying. I know the show is fake but it entertains me and that is all that matters.

I haven't watch for the past couple of seasons. What happened to Dave Hester? I read where'd filed a lawsuit alleging the ""finds"" in the lockers were fixed.

Hester lost the part of the lawsuit where he alleged that A&E planted things in the lockers, the court threw out his claim; however, it allowed him to go forward with his claim of wrongful termination. As far as I know, that part is not yet resolved.

As far as I can tell, he is a very part-time auctioneer, I think his website is something like DaveHesterAuctioneer.com. He is also still selling his YUUUUP gear and he is on Twitter (or at least he was with comments about every episode he was no longer a part of). Probably has a ton of that YUUUP stuff!

I wasn't a fan of his either - he truly is an unpleasant person and it is no surprise that his family has nothing to do with him.

Dan is a great auctioneer. I don't like the lady auctioneer that's on the newer shows, something about her style. I used to regularly watch with the original cast. I don't like the new cast. I watch once and a while. Great news on Dan.

Thanks for the info on Dave. It only makes sense that they'd plant a few ""goodies"". People aren't going to tune in week after week to see dirty mattresses.
