I live in LA; it was 82 degrees at 6:30am today.

It's now over 100 with tropical humidity.

Fall is the worst here.

Hopefully it will cool down after the Jewish High Holy Days. That seems to be the norm.

Grew up on the Peninsula and these temps seem pretty high now.  We are roasting in Santa Barbara. Went to lunch at an air conditioned restaurant. Home now and sweltering

HEY!  San Francisco is horrendously  hot.  Civic Center Farmers Market  is baking.  Schools are closing.  People are dropping.  No airconditioning anywhere because it used to be NOT needed.  Get me outta here.  NOW.

I'm outside of Palm Springs, just another wickedly hot day here and made worse with some unusual humidity.  At least we know fall and cooler air is coming soon. All of West Coast is hot now.

THANK YOU for saying people don't have AC around here!  One person on this board thinks everyone in SF has it except me.  Apparently, she never heard of FOG.  Karl, where are you?

It's 98 degrees around 3pm.  

I remember growing up in Southern California,  the temp was 115 degrees during the summers.   Never hard anyone talk about such things as globle warming.
