Re: Anyone else having a lazy Sunday?

[ Edited ]

Lazy day for me too.  It was gorgeous in southeastern, Pa yesterday.  We had brunch out with the adult kids to celebrate DD & her boyfriend's birthdays (they are close together). It was a fun day!

This morning  DH and I cleaned up the front porch and added some fall decor.  I have yellow & orange mums, a bale of hay and a small pumpkin.  Tomorrow I'll pick up a large pumpkin and I'm waiting for my new fall berry & grapevine wreath that I bought on Etsy to complete my autumn look.  It's so nice to get an area of  the house looking fresh!

Oh,and after reading the scarf thread I decided to wash all of my lightweight scarves (those that aren't silk which I should hand wash).  I have them all on a drying rack right now....so I did get a few things done! Smiley Happy

ETA:  It's cool & rainy right now but at least the Eagles won!! Smiley Happy

@Mombo1   My sister's oldest DD moved from central PA to just outside Pittsburgh about 8yrs. ago.   They love it there.  There is always something to do and their sons both love football.

I would move back tomorrow if I didn’t have little grandkids in NE Pa.    At least I can get my “fix” when I visit my brother.  I love the Pittsburgh area.  Yes...always something to do.

Even though I lived in Monroeville, a suburb of Pittsburgh, it was close enough to everything yet not in the city.   I can’t wait until my granddaughter is old enough to go to Carnegie Museum and the Science Center.  Of course, a Steeler game would be great.

@CrazyKittyLvr2, I'm in your neck of the woods in and it is a cold, rainy day. I turned my heat on but hate to do it as it's so early in the season. I was out with my sister today. I'm pretty much lazy every day.

Sunny, mid 60s in my area and just a lovely day. Flipping between the Packers-Cowboy game and How the West was Won. Only has a three star rating on my TV--a travesty--5 star for me! Jimmy Stewart declaring he had seen the varmint for the last time--😍 Hope everyone is doing well and feels some love today...If you haven't, here's a (((hug))) from me!

Sounds like your DD has it made.   Every time you post she is in the recliner. Smiley Very Happy

Relatively lazy. Weekends generally involve church and football. Today I added breakfast with a work chum and her daughter. We both left our jobs within months of each other. She's a quilter so I enjoyed looking at pictures of her work.

Made French toast for breakfast and did some laundry..went grocery shopping and come home just in time to make lunch..raked up leaves and pruned my blueberry bushes. Now I am sitting on the couch with tea but soon I will call my mom, walk up to feed my stray cat and then make dinner.I seem to spend a lot of time cooking..I also made soup stock today and an apple crisp.Nothing remarkable.
