That's exactly the Sunday we are having.  It's code and dreary.  Hubby is in the family room watching sports,  I'm in the livingroom watching movies and playing on my laptop.  We put the heat on, first time this Fall.  I made chocoate cupcakes with white icing.  Hubby wants chinese food so, I'll have that delivered.

One of my former co-workers who was also a friend never, ever had a lazy day.  She felt she had to be productive 24/7/365. 

On weekends in addition to the usual housework, laundry and grocery shopping etc., she took work home.  Wasn't required to but she always had to be busy.

Sunday is a day of rest.   I go to Saturday vigil Mass ... so ...

Other than cooking for myself and cleaning up afterwards ... I'm relaxing, reading, knitting and checking in online.

im northwest pa... raining here... just worked the weekend and now im laying down... rain here all week.. but i dont mind it at all.. better than snow

Grand daughter's soccer this morning, Shopped at CVS using $22 in big bucks, Little bit of laundry, gonna make buritos sans the tortilla a little later, Watching football and on the laptop. Love that it is raining so my newly seeded grass will grow. I like low key on the weekends and it took me a long time to feel that way. Love looking at all my fall decor and feeling cozy inside, so I am really enjpying my day!

I have lived in NE Pa for awhile...but I am originally from Pittsburgh.  When I read your post...I had to smile when you said you were listening to John Denver. My brother and wife still live in PGH and we frequently go to Amish Country in Ohio.  This past July we went to Amish Country Theater to see “Take me Home....the John Denver experience”.  Jim Curry (the impersonator) not only looks like John Denver, ..but his voice is amazing. It was a great concert with 2 hours of John Denver hits.  If you ever get a chance to go I know you would love it. !!

I seldom have a lazy Sunday unless I am sick because I am a cleaning fanatic! I can sometimes watch TV for a few hours (QVC mostly😉), but then I HAVE to do SOMETHING. My friends tell me they can eat off my floors and my house thanks me 😁.

Let's see, I went for my 5:45 AM walk (4 miles today), did a load of laundry, took a nap, changed my summer clothes to the fall ones, and went for a mani-pedi. No other errands, nothing pressing to get done. To me, that’s a lazy day. 😊

@Mombo1   My sister's oldest DD moved from central PA to just outside Pittsburgh about 8yrs. ago.   They love it there.  There is always something to do and their sons both love football.
