Half game suspension was ridiculous. Does anyone with a brain really think he signed thousands of autographs with no expectation of payment? Yeah, right. Even without proof of payment it's an NCAA violation to knowingly allow someone to make money off of your likeness. More likely, the money was hidden though some channel or there was a promise of big bucks after graduation. NCAA is a joke with it's inconsistencies. Manziel gets half game suspension against a bad opponent but Dez Bryant got nearly a full season suspension in 2009 for lying about having dinner with Deion Sanders.
Manziel and the NCAA can both go take a hike. Manziel put his team at risk and it's not like he needed money. His family is RICH. One Forbes columnist called the NCAA a bunch of half-wits. That about sums it up.
