Anyone else feeling the loss of not being able to discuss politics?

It's election year and we have to settle for discussions about Lisa R's latest antics (time to move on), and other trivial nonsense.

There are plenty of other sites to discuss politics. This is not one of them. The Internet is a vast and varied place. You can find whatever you want.

People get too nasty here and start throwing insults around.

The mods have to sit there and delete, delete, delete instead of just banning people.  It's just too difficult...

this was discussed thoroughly the last few days.  go to a political site for your discussions.

No. I find the topic too painful and wish we could emigrate to Canada. I don't even want to think about what is going on, much less discuss it. Smart decision by QVC for a change.

NO. Plenty of other sites to go to. Guess you missed the last election here.

 Absolutely not missing that.

This is a shopping site, and there are enough other topics here. It will just result in extra work for the moderators and a lot of fighting and no doubt nastiness.

Not missing the ugliness of this forum during the last several elections.

I don't come here for political discussion.  Oh, and I'm not interested in LR's antics either.  I come here for enjoyment, helpful hints, etc.
