@Spurt The worst summer in memory in the Qwapital... Rain, rain and more rain, dreary for days and days... along with the usual hot and humid. I think we had a grand total of about three weeks all summer that it was fit to be outdoors... Might as well have not even bothered to open the pool this year and didn't keep it open beyond Labor Day as they often do... This whole year has been wet... too wet... Fall is not starting out auspiciously either... The temps have fallen some but the humidity remains and the forecast is for it to stick around, and for more gloomy skies and rain to return, after a few day hiatus... Winter around here has become largely nonexistent... Maybe a few weeks of honestly cold weather, but otherwise, just damp and dreary but with little snow... If we do get snow, it's rarely a pretty gentle snowfall... Each to their own but sorry to say anyone in my region wanting to 'hold on to summer' needs their head examined.. It's enough to have me pulling out my almanac and investigating alternative residential possibilities...

Careful, you sound like you're gloating... Don't know where you are, but we too used to have four defined seasons in my neighborhood. Things, apparently, have changed...

I love autumn--the cooler weather, the gorgeous color.
But too suddenly, it's gray and forboding, and then icy and dangerous. . .and that lasts about six months.

I love summer the best, but fall would be okay if I didn't get severe allergies. Oh how I hate rag weed.
Thank goodness, I am not allergic to spring pollen.

Halloween is also my least favorite and when and why did it get so overblown??? I am a Summer person...I also hate the constant darkness!!!
Add me to the hate list @buyornot. Winter is just as bad. So dismal, cold, wet, gray, and the list goes on. Don't get me started on Halloween..........just BAD.
Summer person here. I am a solar panel.

Not saying that anyone here has it, but you might want to look up

Additionally ~ where I live Autum signals HURRICANE season.

I live in SE Michigan and I me some Autumn. Sometimes I wonder why I
Autumn so much and I think it's because I was born at the end of August and the first season I experienced 'on the outside' was Autumn.
