Our Granddaughter attends St. Louis University and is going to their sister campus in Spain for her second semester. She's leaving next month (sigh) and I was wondering if anyone here could give me any first hand experiences. Thanks for any information given.

Not too recently, but Madrid is a great city! The metro is easy to navigate too.
Let's Go produces a student friendly travel guide.
Is she going to spend the entire semester there? She should get a Eurail pass to travel when the semester is over.

And if she can get to Sevilla for Semana Santa, it will be an experience to remember forever!
She can take the AVE (bullet train) and be there in no time.

It was about 10 years ago that I was there and had a good time and saw a lot. Hope you are planning a trip there at the end of the semester to sightsee with her and travel around the country.
