She wants to keep living like the Kardashian family so she's got to stay on the reality tv bandwagon. Anything goes just to rake in the money I guess.

Do you also go on Housewives threads and mention how trivial their issues are? My guess is no, and your posts are just a veiled attempt at expressing your disapproval of the transgender issue and the individuals affected by it.
NOT EVEN CLOSE. I TOO WAS DISCUSSING HER SHOW AND ALL THAT SURROUNDS IT INCLUDING THE QUESTIONS SHE MIGHT ANSWER. DON'T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS. NOT EVERYONE THINKS THIS SHOW IS INSPIRING.
DITTO. THE SHOW IS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF THE DUMBING DOWN IN AMERICA.

I was thinking... put your darn hair in a pony tail and get a sports bra. The entire show is all about dress, makeup and hair... which do not a woman make. She needs to work on her voice., take off the pancake make up ( too much makeup!!) She sounds and looks like a man in drag. Sorry, but that is all I see.
If She were not Bruce Jenner... Cait would be nobody.
It's new and all a novelty to her at this point. I agree she looks and sounds like a man in drag. There have been a number of other publicized cases and it seemed as though the women handled it much more gracefully and with less ado.

My opinion? Scripted reality tv. Seems like the others are "ACTING" and making this into another housewives of.... reality series.
Not inspirational to anyone. Caitlyn is not trangender and said so herself. Just because she wears women's clothes in public and changed her name does not make her transgender, only transvestite. And still walks and talks like a man. Can't see this show helping any 'CONFUSED" kids out there as all it does is look like a rich person playing dress up.
Perhaps you should read the link anniebethsmom provided in post #13.

@lulu2 wrote:I did not change the channel after the nightly news. EXTRA is now on in the background. There was a story about Caitlyn's transgender friends auditioned to be her friends and are paid to be on the show. I doubt they would air this without checking to see if it were true.
Why am I not surprised.

As Bruce Jenner, he made approx. 100 million bucks. As 'caitlin' he's on track to make 500 million within the next 5 years. Guess he didn't get the memo that women make 77¢ on the dollar.

it is curious that several the trangender girls he invited over were more attractive than a lot of CIS (their term) women? the blonde Cait likes has gorgeous hair and one of the others has quite the rack. maybe they started their hormones earlier.

Well, I have to do an about face on the show. I thought it would be a bunch of silly, pointless drivel. Like the Kardashian shows, which I don't watch. I did see an episode or two, a couple of years ago. That was enough for me. I thought Caitlin's show would be like that. I was wrong. After seeing the first two episodes, I think this show does serve a purpose. It isn't just "fluff" stuck between a bunch of commercials like most "reality" shows. Regardless of how you feel about gender reassignment surgery; it educates the general public about issues, problems, concerns, struggles and the lives of transgender people. It lets us see them as real flesh and blood people. And that is a good thing. Caitlin, with all of her money, could have chosen to, live a private life. It would have been easier for her, I think. But she chose to use her celebrity and to share her journey for the greater good. The fashionista in me loves the clothes and the makeup and all that "girly-girl" stuff. I'm not saying it will become "must see tv" for me. But I did like the first two shows.

Formulating an opinion on the show and expressing a complete review from watching a few minutes ...Hmmm
