Once again this creep is using his daughter as a prop on this show. If he truly regretted the midnite beach romp, he should have sent Claire home. She's going home anyway, she should have told him off but she must be desperate.

It's just starting here, and I don't know if I want to invest the time in watching. So spoil it for me...what does he do?

Not sure what really went down, but Claire goes to his suite at 4 AM to invite him down to the beach for a 'dip'. He agrees to go, they race among the waves, music is playing etc, etc. End of the unscheduled date. Then at the Cocktail Party he 'claims' that he regrets the time he spent with her because it wasn't 'fair' to the other contestants and he didn't want to let down his daughter. Claire then asks him why he went if he had reservations but he had no response to her question, lol.

I don't like him anymore and they'd all be lucky if they were sent home.

Hmm...I don't buy his "good boy" act. He dumped a girl last week, because she wanted to kiss him, right? Well...she had already heard first hand from the other girls, that he had made out with all of them. But suddenly...with her, he was all into the "no physical contact" act.

He's very phony, but aren't most of the people on this show?

The exact same thing happened on Ben's season. She sneaked out at 4am and none of the other girls noticed? And he just happened to still be awake, fully dressed with every light on in the house? Producer set up, again. I think he was afraid of the other girls finding out and used his daughter as a excuse. Really, she's 4. I don't think she will be tuning in to see it any time soon.

I watched the second hour tonight. He gives me the creeps, and while I don't know what happened at the beach when he was talking to Clare I got the idea he is very controlling. He's not gonna last with anyone. I'd be interested in an interview with his daughter's mother.

I really liked Juan last season but I think he is a joke now. He starts talking in that little girly voice and it is really turning me off. I am not finding him attractive anymore as the weeks go on and I normally love the Bachelor.

I will still watch but I have read the spoilers and think I know who wins.
