He's the one that sings Beautiful Things.  I didn't realize till a couple of days ago that he got his start on and won American Idol.

I like him and remember him from American Idol. When I first heard that song on the radio I thought it was Pat Monahan with the band Train...probably just me but I think they sound alike on some songs.

Benson Boone did not win American Idol; he withdrew from the competition after making it to the Top 24, opting to pursue his music career independently.....per google

Apparently I didn't know that. Thanks for the heads up. The YouTube I watched recently showed clips of him on American Idol and one of the judges saying he would win the competition. I haven't watched American Idol in years but kind of miss it.

My granddaughter got me into Benson Boone. Love to watch him do those incredible flips.  He didn't win American Idol...he chose to leave and pursue a music career without being  tied to the show.

I had to laugh when I read a comment an older woman left on his video.  She said, I just watched his video and I think my ovaries just fired up again. (He IS cute but very, very young!)

I have a 60 year old co-worker who is obsessed with him.

I never knew what he looked like, but you couldn't escape that song last year.

He has definitely evolved from his American Idol days.

Watching his video from the show, he instantly reminded me of actor Chris Penn from Footloose 😄 (definitely doesn't look like him now, more 70's cabaret/Saturday Night Fever, I guess? 🤷)
