Seems like a good question for this time of the year. I had it once. I was in high school and missed my ride home. My dad was out of town with the car, so I walked home...with no hat or gloves on in negative 14 below temperatures! (You know how kids are about dress.)

I had frostbite of my hands, ears, and knees. I think it was the lowest degree of frostbite...just looked frozen, itchy, tingly, a little blistery, and after a few days, the skin just peeled off. I remember I went to the doctor because sometimes there are circulation problems, but mine wasn't that bad.

I learned my lesson well!
