Not sure where you live, but you might consider visiting Tucson for the winter instead. It's far more scenic & has more attractions & amenities & the weather is great.

Lake Havasu is nasty. I know someone who lives in Parker & is selling. She said all there is now is kids, jet skis, boats, beer & naked people.

If you want a smaller town, try Yuma. We are down the river from LH, on the Colorado River. Plenty of restaurants, some shopping, boating, and nice people. We are a little over 2 hours from Phoenix to the east and San Diego to the west.

It's not the place to be during spring break or summer, but in the winter, it's not a bad place. Lots of retirees winter there. There are some nice resort RV areas and some very nice permanent mobile home parks .

I have friends who winter in Parker. It's very quiet and nicely maintained.
