I thought about it until I read in the paper a Judge ordered Amazon to provide the information on one to authorities in a murder case, that tells me it records in your home without your permission. You should be made aware of that so when purchasing you realize it is part of the package and maybe recording.

I think I'll wait for the new Echo Plus to be the TSV on QVC.  Right now the price for this is $149.99 on Amazon.

It seems like all this high teh stuff is making it so we don't even have to think anymore. Guess I'll pass so I don't lose the few remaining brain cells that I still have.

Yes they are a good deal.  However, I am hoping that Q will have the 3rd gen DOT before the holidays.

They do the exact same thing & are much cheaper.

I already have the 2nd gen DOT.

tempted......we already have a few in the house, but i can always put them in other areas.
