Last year was July 12th.

@butterfly123 Can you explain what it is?

Summertime is here, and that means that Prime Day is right around the corner, and this year, it's bigger than ever. The event itself is expected to last 30 hours, though Amazon will run select discounts for an entire week. As usual, it is exclusively for Prime members, which is free to join for 30 days.
Amazon has not yet announced when it will hold this year's Prime Day, but we do know it will take place in the second week of July. Last year, it fell on July 12, and the year before was the 15th.

@SeaMaiden Although I am an Amazon Prime member I did not know what Amazon Prime Day was.......googled it and here is the answer:
"Prime Day is a one-day-only global shopping event exclusively for Prime members. With thousands of amazing deals worldwide, members get exclusive access to the biggest discounts on things they need, things they want and everything in between - across nearly every product category."
Terrific, glad I looked.......

@butterfly123 Since I am interested in Amazon Prime Day and I am a Prime member, how do we find out the date of this event, where is it announced, is there an email sent to prime members, or do I have to check Amazon for the date???

Amazon usually sends an email and other websites will leak information on some of the sales items. I google to find sites that have the leaked sales items.
