The last board game I bought was monopoly (many years ago) so I just want something fun and challenging but not overwhelming for us senior couples. Any suggestions ? thanks

trivial pursuit is still around and fun. we also enjoy wits and wagers, apples to apples, cranium, smart a$$, and good old scrabble.

It's not a board game, but we always end up playing Catch Phrase by the end of the night. Even the kids don't object to that one when I refuse to play another of their 50-pages of instructions, five-hour games.

When DH and I get together with sis and DH, we play dominoes. Monopoly is an all-time favorite.

A board game I've always enjoyed (and it's not too complicated) is SORRY.

I say Yahtsee since some people play "Words with Friends"
