Any Opinions on the CT. High School Senior Banned From Prom

Apparently this young man was trying to think of a unique way to ask his friend to Prom. He and a couple of friends climbed a ladder and put up cutout letters asking her to go. That's it. No vandalism, etc. The Headmaster suspended him and his friends and since it was past April 1, are not allowed to go to Prom.

Many thousands are following on facebook, etc., even the Mayor thought punishment did not fit the "crime."

I think she needs to find a way to save face and let the kid go.
