I like to start my day with coffee and some Bible readings. If you open Psalms every morning you will find so many passages about being thankful and grateful. Psalm 8 and 9 among many others. 😊

I have already stepped up my side hustle and have been a side working fool. Here's to hoping I get a reliable second stream of income in 2025.

Re: Any New Years Resolutions yet?

I don't usually make resolutions, but I do try to go into the New Year with an open mind and hope for a fresh start with certain things.

I don't make resolutions, exactly, but I do choose a word that signifies a virtue that I wish to work on.

One year my words were both mercy and grace.  Another year my word was gratitude.

This year is a Jubilee year and the Church has given us "hope" as a word to reflect upon.

My own word was given to me last year.  It is rejoice.  The same word was given to me again this year and I will keep it until I am given a new word or until I choose a new word.

I don't make resolutions, but I have the same goal every year. I go through all closets, cupboards, drawers, and rooms every spring and fall. I downsized after retirement and am doing a good job keeping up. If something comes in, something goes out.

Just tonight I marked on my calender, every month on the 6th, to make a living will.  I'm not sure when we'll do it so I'll be reminded once a month till it's done.

I have never been on bus in this country.   I took each of my grandbabies for a train ride several years ago (one at a time).

I don't believe in them or giving something up for the 40 days of Lent.

I do not make resolutions but only make decisions where I need to make improvements and to be kinder to myself and ease up on all the "have to's" each day before I feel I can relax.

Re: Any New Years Resolutions yet?

I stopped making them a few years back, simply because I never held to them. This year, I will attempt one again.

I have too much stuff in my home. I started feeling this way after my aunt passed, and all of the things that she had in her home (a ridiculous amount of items) were either given away, donated or trashed.

I want less stuff in my home will be my New Year Fresh start pledge. I will dump one item that I do not need every day. If I could stick to this, I would have gotten rid of 365 items by years end.

I actually started a few days ago, so I am ahead already. (smile)
