Ants!... Help!

Good morning.

It's that time of year when ants find their way into the kitchen... crawling all around looking for food. Even if the counter is clean and no food is present, I have found them. YUCK!Can anyone suggest plants or flowers that can be planted in my yard, close to the house to deture the ants from trying to enter from the outside? I might even place them on the kitchen counter as well!
