Antibiotic question...

I know you are not Drs. or pharmacists...I just need an opinion.

My body does not tolerate antibiotics well, I am allergic to pennicillin, and sulfa drugs...have stomach and other issues with all other antibiotics. I went to the Dr. yesterday because I felt one of my outer ear infections coming on probably from the very high heat and humidity, and I have TMJ. I felt them ready to blow...an ear infection can turn very quickly on me. He said the ears looked clear, a little redness, but maybe a middle ear infection beginning. He would not give me my usual ear drops, just an oral antibiotic, he said it was all due to my sinuses and throat.

Ummmm he put me on Biaxin 2 x daily for 10 days...I took it for the first time last night (with food) and my stomach started flip flopping almost immediately. If I took it only once daily would it still help? Or should I just continue using my neti pot and forget the antibiotic? I don't want to feel even more miserable all day for the next 10 days! Ugh...
