Re: Another year about to begin in my froggy classroom!

Have a fantastic year.

I miss it.  I looked at school supplies the other day.  You and Lola go back together.

One of the last students I am still mentoring leaves soon for his master's degree and Dr. of Divinity at Duke University!

I found out today that I'll have a bigger class this year.  Say a lil prayer for me and my lil froglets.

How many children will be in your class? Will you have an aide?

Re: Another year about to begin in my froggy classroom!

Regarding the theme of your classroom; do they start out as tadpoles and then graduate as frogs in summer? I mentioned your theme to my daughter (she's a first grade teacher too) and we were talking about all the possibilities. Her theme this year is owls, mainly because she was gifted quite a few things from a retiring teacher.

Which is something else I really admire about the profession! Teachers seem to look out for each other and really go the extra mile to support each other. It's nice to see!

My family comes from a long line of teachers, with me as the exception. I didn't get the patience gene.

Not sure on exact numbers yet.  I never get an aide.
