I remember eating Ben and Jerry's Peanut Butter and Jelly ice cream many years ago. I think the jelly part was strawberry. I don't remember how it tasted, but I bet it was good.

That flavor is definitely for the adventurous. I am not a big ice cream fan, so that's an easy pass for me.

On a somewhat related note, treats/ snacks wise, yesterday DH picked two small bags of Lay's potato chips on a lark. They were cucumber flavored and chicken wing.

I thought the cucumber one was terrible. The chicken wing was ok - at least edible in my opinion. The consensus ? Neither will be purchased again.

Who comes up with these weird flavors?

Put enough sugar and fat in something and people will eat anything. This might not be so awful because people eat salads with a lot of mayo and cream cheese and savory meat and fish and fruit. Salt, fat and sugar.

Yuck! I like the basic ice cream flavors, vanilla and chocolate.

About the gross Lay's chips flavors, I believe that they have a contest every year where the public submits weird flavor requests and there are selected winners. The potato chip flavors are released for a limited time.

@Pezzie when my husband and I vacationed on the island of Paros, Greece we walked to a local grocery store to get some snacks for the week.

They had Lays potato chips in many flavors not available to us here in the US. We bought some to try them out. I remember them being pretty good and I wondered why we didn't have them here.

I can't remember what the flavors were anymore, but they were not weird or strange.
