My goodness, under 5? How much under 4 yrs.?

We all know this isn't acceptable but why come here and keep posting this kind of topic? Just to pound on parents, children?

The parents said this was acceptable behavior? You don't know the child or parents, you see everything in the most unfavorable light. So eager to be negative.

OH please - tell me what favorable light to see this in.

You can find good and bad stories, you are drawn to the bad ones. If you look for anything long enough you will find it. What's it do for you?

'Mezza-mezza' ......... Sometimes serious, sometimes with a bit of humor . . . .

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I'm so surprised that the child wasn't burnt. It must not have been fresh out of the oven???

odd...

That was my first thought, too. I also don't believe that the parents were made to pay for the tainted pizza. I think the ending of this story is wishful thinking.

I don't believe the restaurant made anybody pay for the second pizza.

Re: Another example of very bad parenting

Whenever I go out to eat or even shopping I honestly see very very few children misbehaving. I also have a good friend her youngest 2 are Autistic they many times will cause a scene when out in public. Not every child that outs poorly is due to bad parenting Since I work with Special Needs Children maybe I am more understanding and tolerant. I am not saying I would want dirty hands on my food and also would have requested another pizza.

Best to ask for another pizza, just to be safe. Children might be ill/flu/colds, whatever. Used to be that many children who were ill stayed safe and warm at home to recuperate. Not so much anymore.

I can't imagine anybody eating a pizza that a stranger touched; I think we would all order a new one - that's pretty much a given. Although who knows who touched what in the kitchen.

This is why we seldom eat out and I watch everything like a hawk when we do.

Like I said, wishful thinking for an ending that didn't really happen.

Re: Another example of very bad parenting

Because some people think everyone thinks their children are darling! I work in a food store. I watch kids doing all types of inappropriate things, all while their parents are watching. Very few tell their 'darlings' "No". Example, sticking their hands into bulk food containers. Running around screaming, taking bites out of food.
