Love 'em, but the white parts make me think there's some calico also mixed in.  8)

Poor thing.  The collar is too big so she tries to lap up some water some way.  Cats so like plenty of water.  My cat get his collar reduced so that he can eat and drink without any extra effort or trouble - the times he's had to wear one.

this Elizabethan collar is OK, I think, and doesn't seem to really bother her.

ITA about kitties drinking water; it's important to keep them (especially seniors) hydrated.

It really helps if you leave several bowls out (in different areas) of your home.

Thanks for the cute pix. Felines are much smarter than non-feline humans might think. We've had several that can open doors/flush toilets and find things we thought were lost forever.

Had one years ago that loved to play a game with her, not as smart sister. She would open a cabinet door, knowing her sister would go in to look around, then she would close the door and walk away.

She knew exactly what she was doing as these doors only opened from the outside. Can't remember how many times I came home from work and heard the howling. Couldn't figure this one out, until!

One day I watched her pull this game on her sis, and the mystery was over. Had to put different handles on the doors, her mysterious game was over.  Poor kitty!
