During Covid, I went crazy with food buying. I didn't pay attention to calories and ate every kind of squirrel nuts. Couldn't get enough popcorn. Ordered Grandma for breakfasts. Had crab cakes and meatballs. It's remarkable I only gained five pounds.

I haven't ordered a single thing since. I think I felt I deserved whatever I wanted, going thru a bad time.

@rockygems123  I feel exactly the same as you.  Watching Bob B and Bob Warden cooking  and selling Cooks Essential cookware was what I hoped  ITKWD would be.  I'm still using a 4 qt CE pot that looks almost new.  Gave my niece the rest of that set and she's still using the pots.

Times have changed food shopping on line is now very popular.

Its the time of year to pre order for the up coming holidays.

QVC is selling what is popular and a demand for.

Now more than ever, QVC needs to use their on-air minutes to sell, sell, sell.  That's not a cooking show.  The food shows continue to be the one genre that still sells extremely well for them, so they'll continue to push food shows.  That's smart business.

If anything, I'd love to see Meredith Laurence and other great chefs do cooking shows (while selling their kitchen tools) on the QVC+ streaming channel.  There are several cooking videos there now: Curtis Stone (Cooking With Curtis), and Carla Hall (Beyond the Recipe). They're great!

I did buy Corky's ribs to be shipped to my parents as a gift. I don't know how good they were.

I think the OP watches too much QVC.

QVC doesn't have any food.  They don't have a huge storage locker filled with food.  All the food is sold by food vendors, not QVC.  I think food is a very lucrative product for QVC.  It brings in big bucks so QVC continues to add products and new shows.  I don't watch food shows because most of it is fattening and very unhealthy.
