I am in PA and I LOVE this hot weather. We have been in heat warnings and it is to continue. Anything beats snow! (which I am sick of since I am older). Of course I do feel bad for my husband and my son working in hot places. We have centrail air in the house, BUT I go outside a lot in this weather and even sit on our porch at night and take in the heat. It doesnt bother me.

 I live in Pennsylvania. It's been so hot here even the devil left town. He went back to his own territory down under it's cooler there.

PA too, love it, love it, love it! I've been out walking in it over lunch and it's wonderful to be able to walk in the sun. I am such a hot weather girl. When it even gets too hot for me, I'll go jump in the pool for a while.

I hate snow and I hate being cold. I truly love summer and the heat. My DH says he can actually see my mood improve as it gets warmer outside. We don't have AC and I don't want it. I never use AC in my car either; I just get in, start it up, open the moon roof and go.

@PamelaSue72

@Shorty2U

I envy that you enjoy hot weather.  Sure wish I could.

You feel about it the way I feel about cool weather.  My mood improves with that crisp air.

In the end, I try to make the best of it, but it weighs on me some days.  My DH works out in the heat all day and I worry about him, although he NEVER complains.

I'm doubly impressed @PamelaSue72 that you don't use AC.  Wowza!  You are truly a hot lady!

Enjoy the summer!

count me in as a summer hater!

I live in NY and it's been very hot for several days in a row-

I like the invigorating feeling of cool-cold air.

95 degrees plus daily for weeks, and daily rain here in the South.

I feel like a mushroom. Ugh.

Re: Another 90+ degree day. Counting down to autumn.

@hockeymom, I think Houston has some of the most trying summer weather. The humidity is so bad that you're soaked 2 minutes after drying off from your shower. I visited Houston once and had to change clothes 5 times a day. I used to live in Phoenix where it got up to 117 degrees in July and that was easier to handle than Houston was! I'm in Oklahoma now and it's 87 degrees when I wake up in the morning and 103 by dinner. My doctor told me that even if you're able to stay indoors in air conditioning, the extreme high temperatures still tire you out and make you feel lethargic. I think I'm the only person in this state that likes cooler weather (that would be 75 degrees to most native Oklahomans) and I love cool, rainy days. I need to move to Washington or Oregon.

Yes, I'm one of the rare ones that lives for Summer! I absolutely LOVE the hot and humid days! You know why? Because here in upper MI we really don't get many of those days! So when we do reach the 90's I do a continuous happy dance! So, I've been pretty happy this Summer because its been one for the books. Lots of 80-90 degree days with more coming this week and next! Yippee!! Woman Happy
