@Toots711  Great  Post.  Thank your hubby for us.

My husband was in Vietnam too.  He was in a place where he couldn't attend the Bob Hope Shows but he knew about them.

Thank You to your husband for his service!

And for sharing such a wonderful story.

My Dad suffered too during combat, and it saddens me to see the state of the world today, after so many gave their lives for Freedom!

So I just discovered this woman from the TCM movie Magic.  I thought she was pretty seductive in the movie.  Looked her up and.... what!?  She was a, hit you over the head, ate and left no crumbs, paragon of womanhood.  I mean she had Elvis's head spinning.

Just stop with your bad self, lol!

She could dance (for the time, but I totally see her trying to twerk, lol) circles around anyone.

Re: *** Ann Margret ***

Sometimes, out of the blue while scrolling, I'd see a Bob Hope show among our war heroes. Judging from the picture it was one I saw. The guys were wild about her! Nice to know she is a kind person.

Thank You for sharing this touching story.  Tells you a lot about Ann Margaret too, how special she treated your husband.  She paid Tribute to him at that book signing, by not only complementing him but by standing up and giving him a kiss.  At that moment, your husband was back serving our country in Vietnam in the audience watching her perform.  Thank You for reminding us just less than a week away from Vereran's Day to Thank men we see that day for their service to our country.  We are seeing on the news right now, the ravages of war.  Thanks Again.
