Animal lovers (or not) would you do this?

It has come to my husband and I's attention that one of our relatives has called in a pet psychic because their dog misbehaves and FAILED dog training classes TWICE. DH was on the phone laughing hysterically when he found out. Well it made for some funny conversation.

Personally- I think the dog misbehaves because they work a lot and have someone babysit their dogs (but hey what do I know?).

Would you do this or is this weird? (My husband and I love animals and my husband rescued many a cat but we just found this a little strange). Then again our one cat (of four) is SO bad for me (not as much for my husband) and we have tried everything to no avail. Maybe I need a pet psychic?..lol. (Dont get me wrong I love ALL animals. But I'm kidding, we wouldn't do it).
